In two years, ground will break on a new destination for Milan fashionistas. The Fashion and Design Events Building, or E3, as it is currently known, is the latest addition to Cesar Pelli’s Garibaldi-Repubblica development. Taking cues from the fashion industry, architects Grimshaw plan to drape the building in a fabric-like pleated metal sheath. The centre will have three raised piazzas, one of which will open onto the adjacent Museum and School of Fashion.

Casino Complex in Singapore

Yet another mixed-use development, this time in the form of three 50-storey towers. Architect Moshe Safdie is pulling together the usual gamut of hotel, cultural and shopping spaces, as well as casinos for US gaming company Las Vegas Sands. The pièce de résistance at the $2.5 billion Marina Bay Sands will be the Sky Park, a two-acre public space at the top, with a swimming pool, landscaped gardens and jogging paths. All should be open for business in 2009.

He pensado en porque sentí tanto pesar cuando me enteré de la muerte de steve, pensé que era una broma, mas tarde meditando llegué a la conclusión de que este hombre encarnaba la PASIÓN esa que olvidamos con palabras como el rigor, el trabajo, el deber, etc.
Hoy quiero rendirle tributo a la PASIÓN, el motor de nuestra existencia y nuestra felicidad, gracias STEVE por tu comprimiso con tus ideales, intentaré aplicar un poco de esa pasión a mi oficio, aquella pasión que hace sentir una alegría inmensa por el trabajo que desarrollamos, gracias amigo por ser ejemplo de vida, para mi se ha ido un SANTO URBANO.

Evanescence - The Open Door

The Open Door es el segundo disco oficial de la banda de rock alternativo/rock gótico Evanescence. Aunque su sondio esta definido como rock, en alguna canción de este cd, como por ejemplo Call me when you're sober, se ve un poco la influencia pop que les acompaña en este nuevo disco, cosa que en Fallen no hay.
Su salida ha sido muy esperada tras tres años sin editar un disco con material nuevo. El último fue el CD-DVD Anywhere but Home (En qualquier lugar menos en casa ), que tan sólo contenía un concierto grabado en la sala Zenith (París), un inédito (Missing) y poco más. Este álbum mostrará la evolución de la banda en estos duros años y después de la partida de Ben Moody.

Paul Oakenfold - Perfect Remixes vol 1 (2004)

Not what you would expect to be labeled as Paul's "Greatest Remixes". A little stretch from his other greats. But still, all of the tracks obviously took a lot of thought and time to produce. Furthermore, they all recreate the original emotion of the original track while still changing the style and sound of the song entirely. I can understand why Paul repects them. If your an Oakie fan, these might not make your top ten list of songs, but are a must have for your collection.

Audioslave - Revelations (9/2006)

Audioslave is a rock supergroup consisting of Chris Cornell (former frontman of Soundgarden) and the instrumentalists of Rage Against the Machine. Tom Morello plays guitar, Tim Commerford plays bass, and Brad Wilk drums. The music is fueled by Cornell's powerful voice and Morello's unique and unconventional style of guitar playing, with heavy hip hop-style solos, scratches down his guitar's neck, synthesizer-like sound effects, and an extensive use of pedals and devices to change the guitar's sound. As with Rage Against the Machine, the band prides itself on the fact that all sounds are produced using only vocals, guitar, bass guitar, or drums.
While Rage Against the Machine's music was politically influenced, Audioslave's originally was not, as Chris Cornell said he did not want to become the new singer of Rage Against The Machine and needed the freedom to write lyrics which were not overtly political. However, on Revelations, their newest album, there are many blatantly political songs. The band is part of the Axis of Justice, which is a non-profit organization formed by Morello and Serj Tankian of System of a Down. Its purpose is to "bring together musicians, fans of music, and grassroots political organizations to fight for social justice together."

Brendan O'Brien, who has produced or mixed the albums of numerous major rock acts of the past twenty years, including Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Incubus, and Bruce Springsteen, was at the helm for their third record, titled Revelations. Audioslave had 20 songs written (a few of which were sampled during their 2005 tour), and returned to the studio in early January to finish recording them. The album is said to have a number of songs influenced by old-school R&B and Soul. In a recent interview, guitarist Tom Morello said that the album would feature "funky grooves" similar to those of Led Zeppelin and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Several of the songs on the new album, such as "Wide Awake" and "Sound of a Gun", take a more overtly political stance than previous Audioslave releases.
Revelations was recently pushed back to a September 5 release; consequently this summer Audioslave will not be touring Europe as first reported. "Original Fire", released July 17, was the first single from the effort. MTV.com reported that the video for the song, directed by P.R. Brown was shot on the week of July 3-7. [1] On July 11, the song was made available online on Audioslave's official website for free streaming.
Two songs from the upcoming album are prominently featured in Michael Mann's summer film, Miami Vice, and the title song "Revelations" is also featured on the soundtrack for the EA Sports football title Madden '07.
