Dubai Crescent: For Performing Arts

This project, born from a recurring passion to design spaces for the performance arts, is a hotel with integrated auditorium, recording studios and various other facilities aimed at music, film and theatre industries. Inspired by the form of the Crescent moon, the building creeps out of the Dubai desert into the existing shell, dividing office and recording studio, public and private. To announce itself in one graceful gesture as a space for the future: a space where artists, musicians, actors and designers can live, work and play.
